Irish Gymnast Rhys McClenaghan qualifies for Pommel Final at the Gymnastics World Cup in Doha.

21st March 2018, Doha, Qatar; Irish Gymnast Rhys McClenaghan qualified for the Pommel Horse final at the 11th FIG Artistic Gymnastics Individual Apparatus World Cup in Doha, Qatar. McClenaghan scored 14.700 achieving 3rd place out of 40 rivals and will compete in the Pommel Final (top-8) on Friday the 23rd March at 1pm Irish time.

Team-mate Adam Steele came 12th on Pommel Horse with a score of 13.600, great achievement for his first time World Cup outing. Both will compete in Parallel Bars qualifications tomorrow starting at 1pm Irish Time. Steele will also compete in High Bar qualification.
